      Conference Overview and Theme: The 7 Cities on Housing and Homelessness invites you to the 2017 Conference on Housing First and Homelessness where practitioners, government, academia, and interested community members assemble, create dialogue, and collaboratively focus our efforts to end homelessness. This year the conference theme will be Building a Better Tomorrow by Building Resiliency Today.    Call for Presentations: To submit a presentation for the 2017 conference. Please visit the call for speakers page on the 7 cities website, and submit your proposal by no later than 12:00PM on April 18th, 2017.    Reception and Conference: Networking Reception – Hyatt Edmonton – Gallery Lounge | June 7, 5:00pm to 8:00pm  Conference – Shaw Conference Centre | June 8, 8:30am – 4:30pm | June 9, 8:30am – 1:45 pm    Accommodation: Group Rates are provided by the Hyatt Place Edmonton Downtown Hotel at 9576 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB T5H 4H7, and range from $134 to $144 (depending on room size) per night. Zac has a unique ability to discuss sensitive topics with respect and humour. His presentations are designed to engage and entertain the audience through stories, film and live music. Zac has worked for over 17 years as a frontline practitioner with at-risk youth & families.
