      Community Garden Bike Tour 2019

      Join us on a bike tour of 4 community gardens in Central Edmonton!  Gardens include Oliver Peace Garden, Alex Decoteau, Alex Taylor and Grower's Dozen. Tour begins at the Oliver Peace Garden at 10259-120 St, and ends with a FREE BBQ at the Grower's Dozen Community Garden at the Parkdale Cromdale Community League, 11335-85 St.   Easy on-road biking, approximately 11 km. Registration is required. Maximum of 50 riders.  Bringing others with you? Please register all members of your group.  FAQs  Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? This event is family-friendly. We encourage people of all ages to participate. If the route is too long, you can choose to join us at a specific stop on the tour. You are not required to ride the entire route.   What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? Arrive at the Oliver Peace Garden, 10259-120 St, at 9:30 AM, by bike, bus, or car.   Need a bike route there? Contact our partners, Bike Edmonton, before August 21. There is free, all-day street parking, but it may take time to find a spot. Please note many spots are 2-hr parking, including Oliver Square and the Brewery District. The Street Eats food truck will offer vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Please bring your own snacks, additional drinks, sunscreen, hat, and anything else you need to ride comfortably.
