      Farmers' Market Ride Along

      Give wheels a whirl at the Old Strathcona Farmers' Market! What: Every Saturday from June 1st to September 28th The City of Edmonton Bike Street Team will be hosting free ride alongs to show new and veteran cyclists how to safely navigate the new protected bike routes.  The ride along will help cyclists to explore new route connections, understand how to use the protected cycling infrastructure and suggest the best ways to get around the city’s core on two wheels. Ride alongs will depart from the Farmers' Market at 10 am and run approximately 1.5 hours. Cost: Free Who: This event is open to cyclists that have the ability and skillset to keep up with a group ride of approximately 5-10 kms in distance. All cyclists should be able to ride single-handed and be able to complete hand signals while riding. All cyclists should come prepared to ride. Helmets and bikes will not be provided.
